










Dr. Riley Joseph Rampton is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon and is a native of Utah. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine. As a medical student, he excelled in the classroom and held leadership positions in student organizations at local and national levels. Dr. Rampton completed a surgical residency in northern Colorado, developing extensive skills in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle pathologies.
Following residency, Dr. Rampton completed a one-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical fellowship at the America Foundation of Lower Extremity Surgery and Research. As one of the highest-ranked programs in the country, Dr. Rampton received advanced training in complex deformity correction, arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, external fixation, sports medicine, and trauma. During this fellowship, he was invited to multiple courses taught by some of the leading foot and ankle surgeons in the world.
Dr. Rampton enjoys working with his patients and creating a specific, individualized plan so they can return to full activity as soon as possible. From hammertoe correction to total ankle replacement, he is able to provide patients with exceptional care and the most up-to-date techniques available. Dr. Rampton is Board Qualified in Foot and Rearfoot/Ankle Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.When Dr. Rampton isn’t working, you’ll find him spending time with family, fishing, hiking or watching a movie.
